The gallery generally hosts 4-5 themed exhibitions per year, and 2 larger events. This year we will also be hosting a few group shows of 4-5 artists. 2025 will be eventful and we're so happy you're interested in being involved. We support experienced artists and emerging artists alike. 

Exhibition Selection Process:
The Hetzel Gallery will review all submissions, using the following criteria, but not limited to:

* Art Works:  Original works and all mediums considered,  (No AI generated work will be accepted) the quality of works, originality, technical skill, and how pieces fit upcoming themes.
* Concept: The appropriateness of the concept to the theme, and the artist's ability to communicate it.
*Scale, material , form:  Sometimes, we just don't have the space during larger shows to accommodate large scale pieces, or hang certain materials. We keep all submissions on file for up to 12 months, so when a piece becomes a good fit, we will contact you.

* Community values:  works should be appropriate for family friendly events.

*Safety consideration: Artworks should be safe for the intended location and audience.

*The Exhibition: Selected artists will be contacted and an appointment made for submission.
Artists are responsible for hardware, hanging or special display options. Curators are responsible for hanging and display.

$10 hanging fee applies to total submission, and not each piece submitted. Artists are not required to attend shows, although it is highly encouraged to meet & greet patrons and other artists.

Sales:  40% sales commission is included in sales price.

Application: A form is provided at the bottom of this page. Please submit examples of 4 works, artist statement and bio. Again, we keep all submissions on file for up to 12 months.  If we do not choose certain works for a show, we may contact you for future shows.
