Operation Art Rescue breathes new life into abandoned artwork.
Join us in rescuing art, supporting fellow artists, and rewriting the narrative around creative "failure."
Make an appointment to drop off your unfinished pieces January 13-17, then return January 24 to adopt someone else's work to reimagine and complete. This unique show celebrates the creative process—the hits, misses, and beautiful transformations that happen when artists collaborate with fresh eyes. Born from our 2021 "Art From Under" segment, this event proves that "misses" are never truly failures, just works waiting for their next chapter. This past year, we had a painting left on our doorstep. A taped note written on napkin, "Please take this art, i was unable to finish it". This renewed our inspiration to feature abandoned art.
Reworked pieces debut in June alongside photos of their original forms. A portion of sales supports local pet rescue efforts, because giving abandoned art a second chance reminds us of the importance of giving all creatures their second chance too.
